Buying Blood Pressure Supplements on Amazon: Sellers, Seals and Codes
Blood pressure supplements on Amazon or any marketplace come from many sellers, and counterfeit risk is higher with third-party vendors. In a government study, 20 of 47 brand-name products from such vendors were fake. Check who sells and ships the bottle, the safety seal, the Supplement Facts and the lot code before you pay.

Is it safe to buy heart supplements on a marketplace?
It can be, but only if you check the seller. The marketplace name is not a guarantee.
A U.S. Government Accountability Office study found 20 of 47 brand-name products bought from third-party vendors were counterfeit. It did not cover supplements, so read it as a warning pattern (Consumer Reports, Counterfeits Online).
The safest route named there is the brand or an authorized retailer.
Which seller line should you read?
Read "Ships from and sold by" on Amazon. On Walmart.com, look for "Sold and shipped by" (Consumer Reports, Counterfeits Online).
If the seller is a third party, look for contact details. Under the INFORM Consumers Act, many high-volume sellers must disclose them, and shoppers can report suspicious items (FTC, INFORM Consumers Act).
| Check | Good sign | Warning sign |
|---|---|---|
| Seller line | The brand or authorized retailer | Unknown seller, new account |
| Contact | Named business and address | None given |
| Product photos | Match the real label | Stock images only |
Do seals and lot codes prove a supplement is good?
No. A lot code ties a bottle to a batch, and a seller badge is a picture.
A USP Verified mark comes from a voluntary program where an independent group tests finished products (USP, Verification Program). Quality seals indicate testing, not guaranteed safety or effect (NIH ODS, Dietary Supplements consumer sheet).
On the Melonex bottle the lot reference is M-26/ME-2606. No lab report is published, so the code alone proves nothing. Tap the numbered spots to read each part of the label.

FAQ01
Melonex questions people ask
How do I avoid fake supplements on Amazon?
Check the seller line, prefer the brand or an authorized retailer, and compare label photos with the real bottle. Counterfeit risk is higher with third-party vendors.
Does a lot code prove a supplement is genuine?
No. A lot code ties a bottle to a batch, but it is a seller reference, not lab proof. Only a published test report from a named lab shows contents, and Melonex publishes none.
Is Melonex sold on Amazon or Walmart?
We know of no Amazon or Walmart listing. Order buttons on this site go to the brand's sales site, mymelonex.com. A listing from a third party may not be genuine, and the 60-day guarantee may not cover it.
Where do I report a suspicious supplement?
Report problems to the FDA through MedWatch (FDA, MedWatch), and use the marketplace's report link for fake-looking items. Chest pain or fainting needs 911.
