How to Use Melonex: Dosage, Timing and Daily Routine for the Capsules
To use Melonex, take one capsule a day with an 8 oz glass of water, as the label directs. The label also says you may take up to two capsules a day. One capsule holds a 500 mg blend, a 60-capsule bottle lasts 60 days at one a day, and no fixed time of day is printed.

The label directions01
How do you use Melonex capsules?
Use Melonex the way the label says: take one capsule a day with an 8 oz glass of water.
The bottle prints it this way: "As a dietary supplement, take one (1) capsule daily with an 8 oz. glass of water. May take up to two (2) capsules daily." That is the whole instruction.
Melonex is a dietary supplement, not a medicine, and the label says not to exceed the recommended dose (NIH ODS, Supplements: What You Need to Know).
| Question | What is printed |
|---|---|
| Capsules per serving | 1 capsule |
| Servings per bottle | 60 |
| Water with it | An 8 oz glass |
| Upper limit | Up to 2 capsules a day |
| Time of day | Not printed |
| With or without food | Not printed |
| How many days in a row | Not printed |
Dosage02
How many Melonex can you take a day?
The label allows one to two capsules a day. One is the starting line, and two is the ceiling.
The label says "May take up to two (2) capsules daily" and also says not to exceed the recommended dose. Read together, two capsules is the most it allows.
The math is small. One capsule holds a 500 mg blend. Two capsules hold 1,000 mg of blend, or 1 g. The label does not print how that 1 g splits among its three names.
Nothing on the bottle says who should take two. Start at one, and ask your doctor or pharmacist before going higher.
| Per day | Blend per day | Days in a 60-capsule bottle | Cost per day on 6 bottles |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 capsule | 500 mg | 60 | about $0.82 |
| 2 capsules | 1,000 mg | 30 | about double that |
For comparison, studies on citrulline used 3 to 8 g a day (Cleveland Clinic, L-citrulline), and the one arginine alpha-ketoglutarate trial we found used 12 g a day (Campbell 2006, L-arginine AKG trial). Even two capsules is 1 g of blend.
Timing03
What time of day suits Melonex best?
The label does not name a best time. Take Melonex at a regular time you can keep, with a full glass of water.
No source we found says morning beats evening for citrulline or arginine, so we will not invent a rule. Pick the same moment each day, such as breakfast, so you do not skip it or double up. The dial shows one example day.
- About 7:00, with breakfast time
As the label says, one capsule with an 8 oz glass of water. Prescribed medicine keeps its own schedule; never cut back or quit on your own (AHA).
- Morning and evening: a reading
Home monitoring: an automatic, validated upper-arm cuff, five minutes of rest, two readings a minute apart at the same time each day, and a log (AHA).
- A walk after a meal
Adults are advised 2.5 hours of moderate activity a week, or 75 minutes of vigorous activity (AHA Life's Essential 8).
- Dinner and night: sodium and sleep
AHA suggests no more than 2,300 mg of sodium a day, ideally 1,500, and most adults need 7 to 9 hours of sleep.
Points from AHA (AHA, Home Blood Pressure Monitoring), (AHA, Managing BP Medications), (AHA, Life's Essential 8) and (AHA, How Much Sodium Per Day). The time for the capsule is a suggestion; follow your label.
Step by step04
What are the steps to take Melonex?
There are four steps: check the seal and your medicines, pour 8 oz of water, take one capsule, and keep your blood pressure checks.
The last step matters as much as the first. A supplement does not tell you where your numbers stand. Only a reading does (NHLBI, What Is High Blood Pressure).
- 01
Check the seal and your list
On a new bottle, check that the safety seal is intact. Read the Supplement Facts. Note any blood-pressure medicine you take.
- 02
Pour an 8 oz glass of water
The label says to take one capsule with an 8 oz glass of water. That is a full cup, not a sip.
- 03
Take one capsule
One capsule a day is the label's starting line. The label also says you may take up to two a day; ask your doctor before going above one.
- 04
Keep your blood-pressure checks
A bottle lasts 60 days at one capsule a day. Keep your cuff or clinic readings going, and share what you take with your doctor.
Daily use05
Can you take Melonex every day?
Yes, the label sets the serving at one capsule daily, so daily use is the printed plan. No limit on the number of days is printed.
"Daily" is not the same as "safe for years". No study tested Melonex, so no source can tell you what happens after months of use. The longest citrulline trials we found ran 16 weeks (Cleveland Clinic, L-citrulline).
The brief asks for at least 30 days of continuous use before a refund request, so confirm the live policy at checkout (Melonex sales page). See the guarantee page for the claim steps.
Week 1
Write down stomach upset, bloating or dizziness.
Day 30
Compare your home or clinic readings with your starting ones. Share the log with your doctor.
Day 60
Decide with your doctor whether to continue. A bottle at one a day runs out here.

Who needs to ask a doctor before taking Melonex?
Ask a doctor or pharmacist first if you take blood pressure medicine, a nitrate, a sildenafil-type medicine or a potassium-sparing diuretic, or if you have had a heart attack.
The label says pregnant or nursing mothers, anyone under 18, and anyone with a known medical condition should consult a physician. Mayo Clinic, MSK and Cleveland Clinic all advise against arginine after a recent heart attack (Mayo Clinic, L-arginine) (MSK, Arginine) (Cleveland Clinic, L-arginine).
- Blood pressure medicine: arginine may add to its effect, per Mayo, MSK and Cleveland Clinic.
- Nitrates: Mayo and Cleveland Clinic name them as an interaction.
- A recent heart attack: three sources say to avoid arginine.
Never cut back or stop a prescribed medicine because you started a supplement (AHA, Managing BP Medications). Chest pain, trouble breathing, fainting, or face, arm or speech changes need a 911 call (AHA, Warning Signs of a Heart Attack) (CDC, Signs and Symptoms of Stroke). The side effects page covers the cautions in full.

Care of the bottle08
What if you miss a capsule or the seal is broken?
If you miss a capsule, skip it and take the next one at your usual time. The label does not cover missed doses, so do not double up.
The label says not to use the product if the safety seal is damaged or missing. Check it on a new bottle.
Storage: Keep away from heat, light, and humidity to preserve freshness. Store in a cool, dry place.

Melonex dosage and daily use questions
How many Melonex capsules can I take at one time?
Take one capsule at a time, with an 8 oz glass of water. The label allows up to two capsules a day, not two at once. It does not say whether to split them, so ask your pharmacist if you move above one.
Can I take Melonex on an empty stomach?
The label prints no food rule, so it does not forbid an empty stomach. Arginine and citrulline can cause nausea or bloating in some people (Mayo Clinic, L-arginine) (Cleveland Clinic, L-citrulline), so if that happens, try it with a meal and tell your doctor.
Is it better to take Melonex in the morning or at night?
No source we found names a best hour, and the label prints none. Pick a time you can repeat daily, with a full glass of water, and keep it consistent so you do not skip or double a capsule.
Can I open a Melonex capsule and mix it in a drink?
The label says to take the capsule with 8 oz of water and gives no other method. We found no source on opening the capsule. Swallow it whole as directed, and ask a pharmacist if you cannot swallow capsules.
What happens if I take two Melonex capsules a day instead of one?
Two capsules is the label's upper limit, giving 1,000 mg of blend with the split unprinted. The bottle then lasts 30 days instead of 60. The label gives no reason to prefer two, so ask your doctor first.
Do I need to cycle on and off Melonex?
The label prints no cycling plan, so none is needed by its directions. No study tested Melonex over time. A check-in with your doctor at day 30 and day 60 is a safer habit than a self-made schedule.
