What does the FDA statement on Melonex mean?
The FDA statement means no one at the agency has checked the claims on the label. It reads: These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
The wording is required on supplements that carry a structure or function claim (FDA, Structure/Function Claims). It is the reason the front of the bottle has asterisks.
Some pages on this site show the bottle's FDA registered facility note and the other badges. A registered facility is not an approved product. Registration means the site is on file. It does not mean the FDA tested the capsules.
