Blood Pressure Supplements at Costco: Cost Per Day or Dose Per Day?
Blood pressure supplements Costco shoppers buy in bulk should be judged by two numbers: cost per day and dose per day. A big bottle is cheap only if the dose inside is meaningful. Melonex is 60 capsules, about $0.82 a day on six bottles, but its whole blend is 500 mg and no amount per name is printed.

Is a bulk bottle of a blood pressure supplement a better deal?
Only if the bottle gives you enough days of a dose worth taking. Price per bottle tells you almost nothing.
A bottle of 300 capsules sounds like a bargain until the label says to take three a day. Then it is 100 days.
We found no source on any Costco listing for Melonex, and we name no store brand here. The checks below work for any bottle, in a warehouse club or a web shop.
How do you work out cost per day?
Divide the price by the number of days one bottle lasts. Days equal capsules divided by capsules taken each day.
Melonex has 60 capsules. At the label's one capsule a day, one bottle is 60 days. At the label's limit of two capsules, it is 30 days, and the cost per day doubles.

Uses the buy-page prices: $158 for 2 bottles, $207 for 3 and $294 for 6. Bottle icons fill one per bottle. A planning aid only; the checkout shows the final total and any shipping.
What is dose per day, and why does it beat price?
Dose per day is the active amount you swallow in a day. A cheap day with a tiny dose is not a bargain.
The Melonex panel prints one number: Proprietary Blend, 500 mg. Three names share it. Under the label order rule (21 CFR 101.36, Supplement Facts), the first name is at least 167 mg, the second at most 250 mg and the third at most 167 mg. These are salt weights, so the amino acids themselves weigh less.
Cleveland Clinic summarizes citrulline studies at 3 to 8 g a day (Cleveland Clinic, L-citrulline). Pooled arginine trials mostly used several grams a day (Shiraseb 2022, arginine and BP). Two capsules is 1 g of blend in total. That is arithmetic, not a verdict, and no trial tested Melonex.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist before buying more of anything, particularly with blood pressure medicine.

Not before you know how you react. A short trial costs less than a year of capsules you may stop.
The seller describes a 60-day money-back guarantee and asks for at least 30 days of continuous use. Confirm the live policy at checkout. You pay return shipping.

FAQ01
Melonex questions people ask
Is Melonex sold at Costco?
We know of no Costco listing for Melonex. It is sold on the brand's sales site, reached from this site's order buttons. If you find a listing elsewhere, it may not be genuine or covered by the 60-day guarantee.
How long does one Melonex bottle last?
One 60-capsule bottle lasts 60 days at one capsule a day. The label allows up to two capsules a day, which makes it 30 days. The label says not to exceed the recommended dose.
Which Melonex pack has the lowest price per day?
Six bottles cost $294, which is about $0.82 a day at one capsule a day, with free US shipping. Three bottles are $207, about $1.15 a day. Two bottles are $158 plus $9.99 shipping, about $1.32 a day.
Does a lower price per day mean a stronger dose?
No. Price per day and dose per day are separate numbers. Melonex prints one 500 mg blend per capsule and no amount per ingredient, so a lower price tells you nothing about how much of any amino acid you take.
